Our ISO 4589-3 High-Temperature Oxygen Index Tester is designed to evaluate the burning behavior of plastics and other materials under elevated temperatures up to 400°C, in compliance with ISO 4589-3:2017. Equipped with a precision quartz glass combustion tube, paramagnetic oxygen sensor, and advanced gas flow control, it accurately measures the minimum oxygen concentration (OI) or temperature (TI) required to sustain combustion. Ideal for testing self-supporting plastics, laminates, and porous materials, this instrument ensures reliable results for industries like rail, aerospace, and construction, meeting standards such as EN 45545-2.

Main features of the equipment:

no service life limit (unlike electrochemical sensors, the service
life is only about 1 year)

than 75mm, height greater than 450mm), outer cylinder (the gap with

4. Equipped with nitrogen and oxygen mass flow controllers imported

5. Patented gas flow mixing control unit, equipped with nitrogen
and oxygen mass flow controllers, accurately controls gas flow;
6. After the oxygen concentration is set on the screen, the PLC LCD
touch screen control system automatically adjusts the oxygen

concentration measurement and more complete mixing of oxygen and
